Анализ на сцепление двух факторов — скрещивание, с помощью которого можно установить наличие или отсутствие сцепления между двумя генами, а также величину частоты рекомбинаций, или кроссинговера, между ними в случае сцепления. С этой целью получают гибриды F1 (AaBb) от скрещиваний двух гомозиготных родительских форм (AABBЅaabb), а затем скрещивают их либо друг с другом (анализ на сцепление методом скрещивания особей F1), либо опять с родительской формой, являющейся двойным рецессивом (анализ на сцепление методом возвратного скрещивания). В обоих случаях в F2 возможны 4 класса фенотипов — AB, Ab<aB и ab, которые возникают или с одинаковой, или же (в случае сцепления) с различной частотой. Подобным образом можно анализировать наличие сцепления по трем или нескольким парам аллелей. В этом случае говорят об анализе на сцепление по трем или же по n-му количеству факторов.
